Do you have a troubled heart? Would it surprise you to learn that Jesus also had a troubled heart? Jesus experienced the same kind of troubles as you and I do. Yet he also said, "Let not your heart be troubled." How do you rid yourself of a troubled heart? Today Dr. Mack Amis shows us in the Gospel of John what brought about Jesus' troubled heart, and how you, like Jesus, can have peace replace your troubled heart.

Today Kevin brings us a word of encouragement from 1st John Chapter 1, Verse 9. Kevin talks about how we as Christians have a relationship with God. This relationship, not religion, allows us to freely surrender to Him and He allows us to grow in His image. How He takes our time and provides us with a purpose. He gives us gifts, and allows us to use them as tools for His purpose. How are you using this time that He has given you to help fulfill His purpose?

Do you have patience? Today, it seems like all of us are facing the daunting task of being patient during this "new normal" of COVID-19. In this devotion Dr. Mack Amis provides an example of patience from the Old Testament. We turn to the Book of Genesis, Chapter 26, and a story about Isaac. Here was a man who was patient and waited on God's timing as he worked to do nothing more than to dig a well.

During these times we find that we are in a place where we don't want to be, but we know that God is there with us, and he can use us to His glory. Today, Dr. Mack Amis looks at Joseph as an example of one who found he was in places he didn't want to be, but he remained faithful to God's will. The story of Joseph that is referenced by Brother Mack today can be found in Genesis, Chapters 37 and 39-41.

Today Rev. Kevin Anderson, our Youth Minister and Worship Leader, brings us a message from James. In James 4: 7-10 Kevin looks at how we shouldn't just hear the Word, but be doers of the Word. It is time to lose the pride and be humble. Also he takes a look at Proverbs 15: 1 and Colossians 3: 15.
